The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indiana University–Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor Computer Engineering faculty position in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2018 or possibly earlier.

The IUPUI campus has approximately 30,000 students and over 200 degree programs with annual research expenditures totaling over $300M. Successful candidate should expect to teach undergraduate and graduate computer engineering courses (software and hardware), supervise graduate students and conduct externally funded research. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or related area. We are particularly interested in applicants whose research focuses in one of the following areas: medical IoT devices (mIoT) and wearable sensors, machine learning, big data and artificial intelligence but we are open to other computer engineering research areas.
